Andrew McMahon

Andrew McMahon is a singer-songwriter and pianist from Concord, United States, associated with piano rock and alternative music. He is best known as the vocalist, pianist and main songwriter for Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, and he also fronts Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.

He is linked with Maverick, and earlier in his career he is associated with Geffen and Drive-Thru Records through Something Corporate. Born in 1982, he becomes known for writing and performing on piano-led rock songs and for working across multiple projects under his own name and with bands.

In 2005, he is diagnosed with leukaemia and later receives a stem cell transplant from his sister Katie McMahon.
