Alter Ego

Alter Ego is a German electronic group from Darmstadt, active since 1993. The group consists of Jörn Elling Wuttke and Roman Flügel, and its sound is associated with ambient house, ambient techno, downtempo, electro house, electroclash and techno. It is also described as an electro and techno-clash act from Germany.

Recording history

The group is known for the track “Rocker”, which becomes a big hit in 2004 and appears on the album Transphormer. In 2005, that album is remixed and issued as Transphormed.
