Alkatraz is a Welsh rock band from Neath Port Talbot, Wales, active from 1975 until its end. The name is also used by several unrelated acts, including a Polish rock group founded by Roman Kostrzewski after his work with the Polish metal band KAT, a light jazz and soft rock band, and a Mexican hip-hop artist from Inglewood, California.

The Polish act is associated with thrash metal and heavy metal, while the other namesake projects belong to different styles. The jazz and soft rock group releases an album titled Doing a Moonlight. The hip-hop artist records My Neck of the Woods, Volumes I and II; the second volume features T-Pain, Diamonique and Glasses Malone.
