Alison Cotton

Alison Cotton is a British viola player and composer based in London, working in composition and improvisation. She performs solo and is also one half of the Walthamstow-based songwriting partnership The Left Outsides.

She has been a member of Saloon, The Eighteenth Day Of May and Trimdon Grange Explosion. Her work sits across ambient, chamber folk, drone, folk, psychedelic and psychedelic folk, with links to singer-songwriter, modern classical and contemporary classical styles.
