Alfred Hall

Alfred Hall is an indie pop duo from Drammen, Norway, active since 2009. The group consists of Bjørn Tveit, who handles vocals and guitar, and Hans Thomas Kiær, who plays guitar. The duo forms in the summer of 2009 and begins writing and developing material soon after.

Releases and recognition

Their debut single, So Bright, receives a nomination for Ukas Urørt in 2011 and is released the following year after work in Tinnitus studio in Bergen. Their first album, Wilderness, is released in Norway in 2013 and receives a Spellemann Award nomination in the Pop Group of the Year category.

In 2014, Alfred Hall releases its first international EP, Alfred Hall EP, and appears several times on the Passport Approved Indie list. The group’s first international single, The King of Cape, follows in early 2015.

Live activity

Alfred Hall also performs at the opening night of the first JaJaJa club night at Fluxbau in Berlin, and is selected as one of 14 finalists to play at the Midem festival in Cannes in June 2015.
