Albion

Albion is a Polish neo-progressive rock group active since 1992. The band features female vocals and is associated with neo-progressive rock and progressive rock.

Style and sound

The group’s music combines short and extended compositions and is described as melodic and atmospheric. Its sound draws comparisons with Marillion, IQ and Jadis, and includes guitar tones associated with Steve Hackett as well as subtle keyboard work. The band is also linked with art rock, trance and power metal in wider genre tagging.

The group includes Jerzy Antczak, Anna Batko, Tomasz Kaczmarczyk, Paweł Konieczny, Krzysztof Malec, Grzegorz Olszowski, Rafał Paszcz and Katarzyna Sobkowicz-Malec.

Discography

Albion’s discography includes Survival Games and Albion, both released in 1994 and 1996 respectively, followed by Wabiąc cienie and Broken Hopes in 2005 and 2007.
