Akkord

Akkord is a UK electronic duo based in Manchester, made up of Liam Blackburn and Joe McBride. Blackburn also records as Indigo and Ancestral Voices, while McBride also works under the name Synkro. The project sometimes includes other contributors in addition to the core pair.

The group releases music on its own Akkord label and also issues work through Houndstooth. It releases a self-titled album on Houndstooth in 2013. Its sound is associated with techno, dark ambient, drone, experimental electronic and dubstep.
