Acid King

Acid King is a San Francisco doom and stoner metal group, active since 1993. The band works in the area of doom metal, stoner metal and traditional doom metal, and is also associated with stoner rock and stoner doom.

History

Acid King forms in San Francisco in 1993. The band’s name comes from the book Say You Love Satan by David St. Claire, which tells the story of Ricky Kasso, known as “The Acid King,” who commits a murder in Northport, New York in 1984.
