Abandon Ship

Abandon Ship is the name of two different groups. One is a hardcore punk band from Brighton, England, active between 2003 and 2008. The other is a forest punk band from Santa Cruz, California.

English hardcore punk band

The English Abandon Ship forms in Brighton and plays hardcore punk. Its final line-up includes Andy Devine, Matt Devine, Rob Camp, Steve O’Brien and Ralph Simmonds. Earlier members include Conan Roberts and Sam Cooke. The group tours the UK several times and also tours Europe.

The band releases three records and a discography CD. Its releases include a split 7-inch with The Permanent Split on Speedowax Records, the one-sided 12-inch ’Til I Burst on Ghost City Records, a self-titled 7-inch on Ghost City Records, and the Good As Gold CD discography on Ghost City Records.

American forest punk band

The American Abandon Ship is a forest punk group from Santa Cruz, California. It is made up of former members of Little Ghostthings and The Curse Is Cast. Its discography includes a self-titled recording made in 2007 at the Zaus in Santa Cruz and Artifice of Escape, recorded in spring 2009.
