Aba Shanti-I is a UK sound system operator and performer associated with reggae, dub and rub-a-dub. The name refers both to the sound system and to the person who plays it. Over the course of more than 20 years, he plays his own sound and music created by his brother, Blood Shanti, in halls of different sizes across England.

His sessions draw a broad audience across race, age, creed and gender, and are described as inclusive gatherings where people come to hear music, relax and leave their worries behind. The sound system is presented as one that does not segregate but integrates, with an emphasis on atmosphere and feeling rather than appearance. The name is also linked with The Shanti-Ites in live performances.
