A$AP Ferg is Darold Ferguson, Jr., a hip hop artist from Harlem, New York City. Born in 1988, he is a member of A$AP Mob and has also been associated with AWGE and The Scythe.

He takes his stage name from the A$AP Mob collective. His music is identified with east coast hip hop, hip hop and trap, and he works under Polo Grounds Music.

In 2013 he signs a solo record deal with Polo Grounds and RCA, following deals connected to A$AP Worldwide within the wider A$AP Mob circle. His debut album, Trap Lord, is released in 2013 and receives generally positive reviews.
