1782 is an Italian doom metal group from Ossi, Sardinia. It forms in 2018 and consists of Marco Nieddu and Gabriele Fancellu. The band’s name refers to the year of Anna Göldi’s condemnation and death, which is associated with what is described as the last witchcraft trial in Europe.
