Field Trip Party 2018

Somerset’s best kept secret on the festival scene, is garnering a reputation as the premier independent UK dance music event of the year. Truly electrifying music spread over five stages that feature House, Techno, Breaks, Drum & Bass and now introducing the all new UK Hip Hop stage!

Set in rolling hills, this edition of Field Trip Festival will be hailed by an especially rare, very deep lunar eclipse. This will take place in the skies overhead as soon as the festival kicks into full throttle on the Friday evening. Gilcombe Farm already plays host to some of the most inspiring sunsets you will witness, so this is shaping up to be a once in a lifetime festival occasion.

So far we know that crowds will be jumping to Hype and Hazard. Mampi Swift & IC3, Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, Leftwing & Kody and the Freestylers. In a first wave of all star names from an almighty line up which has been partially released. From the UK Hip Hop Stage we have The Mouse Outfit, Skinnyman, Ellis Meade, Berry Blacc, Leaf Dog, BVA, Skitz and Joe Burn and lots more on the website.

Dedicated Raver Coaches are running round trips to the festival from pick up points in Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol & Bath. These trips are ‘an extension of the party itself’ run by Kushti Travel. You can buy an all inclusive ticket - for your travel plus your weekend festival pass, via the festival website.

Or you can save money by buying for a party of five. The recently released Group Saver Ticket gives entry to 5 for the price of 4. The Field Trip organisers encourage car sharers, and an environmentally friendly rave ethos, with new initiatives and simplified systems. Those who rave will save.

Book tickets now to become part of the ever growing and forever welcoming Field Trip Family or drop in and say ‘hi’ at the the Launch Party, on 4th May at Bar 23 in Frome.
