The British drum and bass producer, Sub Focus, will bring his acclaimed Circular Sound production to arenas for the first time, playing London's O2 on Friday 26 March 2027 before heading north to Manchester's Co-op Live on Saturday 27 March.

For one of the leading names in UK drum and bass, the step into two of the country's biggest indoor arenas is another sign of just how far the genre has moved into the mainstream.

Sub Focus Circular Sound 2027 dates

The two confirmed UK shows are:

Friday 26 March 2027 – The O2, London

Saturday 27 March 2027 – Co-op Live, Manchester

Both dates will feature Circular Sound, the immersive audiovisual concept Sub Focus has been developing and touring internationally. The official Circular Sound site confirms both arena dates.

What is Circular Sound?

Circular Sound goes considerably further than a conventional DJ performance.

The production combines Sub Focus' music with large-scale, personally curated widescreen visuals and immersive staging designed to surround the audience.

Previous versions of the show have travelled internationally and included a rapid sell-out at London's Alexandra Palace. Sub Focus has also taken the concept to audiences in Los Angeles, Australia and New Zealand.

Moving Circular Sound into The O2 and Co-op Live means the production can now be scaled for two of Britain's largest arena environments.

Drum and bass keeps getting bigger

The announcement is another major moment for British drum and bass.

Sub Focus — real name Nick Douwma — has spent more than two decades helping push the genre towards increasingly large audiences, while retaining the energy that made drum and bass one of the UK's most enduring club and festival sounds.

His catalogue includes multiple UK Top 10 and platinum-selling singles, while his live and DJ career has taken him to festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella and Tomorrowland.

More recently, his work has included collaborations spanning electronic music and pop, while his role alongside Dimension, Culture Shock and 1991 in the WORSHIP collective has helped introduce drum and bass to even larger international audiences.

For UK festival fans, the scale of these shows will be particularly interesting. Arena-level demand for drum and bass artists continues to grow, and Circular Sound is being positioned as a full-scale live spectacle rather than simply an enlarged club set.

When do Sub Focus 2027 tickets go on sale?

General sale for the London and Manchester shows opens at 10am on Friday 21 August 2026.

A presale begins at 10am on Wednesday 19 August.

Given the previous demand for Circular Sound and the significance of these first arena editions, fans hoping to attend may want to be ready when tickets are released.
