Belsonic festival add Beady Eye

Former Oasis front man Liam Gallagher's new band Beady Eye have been confirmed to play the Belsonic festival in Belfast.

Belsonic festival takes place at Custom House Square in Belfast from the 16-17 August with recently confirmed act Beady Eye being added to the line up alongside Primal Scream, Dizzee Rascal, Elbow, Plan B and many more.

Front man Laim said "We've never played a festival in Belfast, so I can`t wait for this Belsonic thing"

"It is about time I played an outdoor gig in the city, long overdue"

American rockers 30 Seconds to Mars also join the bill.

Belsonic is an outdoor music event which had more than 40,000 people attend last year. This year plans to be bigger and better with some of the biggest acts around all in one place for 7 days of music goodness!
