The Wonky Donk Festival gets its name from its location, a retired donkey farm. It was started in 2012 as a roots revival festival and some of the funds from the festival are put back into the farm, giving the ‘wonky donkeys’ the chance for a little luxury in their lives. The festival incorporate music alongside local beers and ales as well as food on-site.
In 2015 Wonky Donk is in its fourth year and is running on the 11th and 12th July at Halls Road Farm in Dorset. So far no line-up has been announced but it’s bound to be a good one as previous year’s show and a licensed bar and food are available on-site to ensure an enjoyable experience for guests of all ages.
