At Trecco Bay Holiday Park, Porthcawl, Winter's End 2027 runs as an indoor rock music weekender from Thursday 28 January to Sunday 31 January 2027.

The 2027 edition marks the festival's 10th anniversary. Winter's End began in Dorset in 2017, moved to Trecco Bay in 2023, and ran its first four-day format with a Thursday warm-up night in 2026.

Lineup and Programme

The bill covers rock variants from blues rock and classic rock to hard rock, melodic rock and metal. Announced acts include Bywater Call on Friday, Stone Broken on Saturday and The Answer on Sunday.

The named performance space is the Winter's End stage. The programme also includes a Sunday morning quiz and late-night music in the sports bar.

Who Is It For?

Entry is strictly over 18s, so the ticketing rules make it an adult event. The audience is an adult rock crowd.

It is a standing indoor event. Limited seating is set aside for people who need it for medical reasons.

The Venue and Site

Trecco Bay is a holiday park rather than a conventional arena site. Winter's End uses the indoor Winter's End and Showdome event space.

Accommodation and non-accommodation tickets are both part of the format, with on-site caravans used instead of camping pitches. Trecco Bay has no camper-van pitches for the festival.

Food and drink names on site include the Boat House Restaurant and Trooper Lounge, alongside other park restaurants and bars. The wider park facilities include an indoor pool and a convenience store; practical provision includes parking, accommodation Wi-Fi and a raised accessibility platform in the Showdome.

Travel

Trecco Bay Holiday Park sits at Porthcawl, CF36 5PW, a few miles from Bridgend in south Wales.

• Rail: Pyle railway station is the closest station, about 4.7 miles from the park and around 10 minutes by car.
• Road: Access is via M4 Junction 37 and the A4229, then Pyle Road, A4106, Newton Nottage Road, New Road and St John's Drive.
• Parking: A free main car park is available. Where space allows, one car can park next to accommodation; day and weekend ticket holders without accommodation use the main car park.
• Nearby cities: Cardiff is about 25-27 miles away and Swansea is about 19 miles away.
