About Teddy Rocks Festival
After starting as a Teddy20 charity gig in Blandford, Teddy Rocks Festival 2027 runs from 30 April to 2 May at Charisworth Farm, Blandford as a rock-led music festival.
The numbers are part of the story. Official trade terms list the event at 7,000 capacity; the 2025 edition sold out with a 5,000-strong crowd, and 2026 fundraising reached £185,000, taking the total raised past £1 million since launch.
The first gig ran at The Greyhound pub in 2011, before the first Teddy Rocks event took place at The Corn Exchange in 2012. Charisworth Farm became the festival home in 2018.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans from rock and alt rock into punk, metal, ska, folk, grime, rap, drum and bass, trance and house. Comedy and spoken word sit in the programme too.
Stages named for the arena are The Ted Newton Stage, The Vocalzone Stage, The Jan Boyd Stage, The Merry Woodland Stage, The Teddy Raves Disco, The Royal Ted and The V.I.P T.I.P.I.
