Purbeck Valley Folk Festival

Purbeck Valley Folk Festival is a fun family friendly event which combines village culture with live music and plenty of other enjoyable activities and events. The festival takes place in the Purbeck Hills in South Dorset and has an eco-friendly focus as well as the fun, family-orientated atmosphere. The children’s programme is just as exciting as the live music to ensure that young festival goers are entertained as much as the adults.

In 2015 Purbeck Valley Folk Festival invites a wide range of fantastic live acts including Stornoway, Caravan of Thieves, Cardboard Fox, Flats and Sharps, Beth Porter, The Availables, The Scientists, Tom Clements and many more. The children’s programme includes storytelling sessions, singing sessions, balloon modelling and many more fun and participatory activities.
