About Lindisfarne Festival

Lindisfarne Festival 2027 runs at Beal Farm, Northumberland, as an 18+ coastal music festival spanning dub, house, indie, pop, rock, reggae, punk, folk, soul, funk and disco.

The first edition came to life at the same Beal Farm site in early September 2015 with a 2,000-strong crowd. The format stayed put. For 2027, the festival is billed as its 12th year, with 9 stages and over 250 bands.

Founder Conleth returned to run the event again in 2025 after a rocky patch that spring. The 2027 dates are 2-4 September.

Lineup and Programme

The 2027 bill leans wide rather than single-lane, moving through dub and house, indie, pop, rock, reggae, punk, folk, soul, funk and disco.

Named stages include Shorefields, Viking Brewhouse, Dingle Dell, The Temple, Dubshack, Shanti Bee, The Altar and DeltaCity. The festival also lists live music, comedy and spoken word, walkabout acts, art installations, wellness workshops and treatments, artisan food and drink, and DJ-led late-night dancing.

Who Is It For?

This is an adults-only festival. Under-18s are not admitted, and a Challenge 25 policy runs at the box office and bars.

The audience is described as an eclectic mixed crowd drawn to camping, live music, comedy/spoken word, wellness activities and late-night dancing. Family attendance is not part of the format because the site is 18+ only.

The Venue and Site

Beal Farm sits on the Northumberland coast near Berwick-upon-Tweed, overlooking Holy Island/Lindisfarne. The festival site is open countryside.

Camping is included with multi-day tickets, with a quieter camping area and glamping upgrades available through partner providers. Live-in vehicles use a separate area and need a permit.

Facilities include licensed bars, artisan food vendors, paid shower access, and an accessible viewing platform at Shorefields. Disabled portaloos are placed in the campsite, live-in vehicle field and arena; there are no disabled showers.

Travel to Lindisfarne Festival

Beal Farm is in Northumberland, about 8 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed, 50 miles north of Newcastle and 65 miles south of Edinburgh.

• Train: Berwick-upon-Tweed is the nearest station, on the East Coast Main Line.
• Road: Road access uses the A1 and the Lindisfarne Causeway.
• Parking: On-site parking requires a valid pre-booked pass. Skiddle lists parking at £20 per vehicle for 2027, with the car park about a 5-minute walk from the campsite.
