Leyland Festival is a family community festival at Worden Park in Leyland, with a recent published expected crowd of about 15,000.
The day is built around a town-centre parade that finishes at Worden Park, alongside children’s activities, food and drink vendors, craft stalls and community traders.
Its roots go back to 1889, when the first festival began as a children’s fete. The modern event is community-run, with volunteers and local sponsors involved in its operation.
