About LeeStock Music Festival
Lee Dunford’s memorial gig came first, in 2006. The first LeeStock Music Festival followed in 2008, and the 2027 edition runs on 29-30 May at Kentwell Hall, Long Melford, near Sudbury in Suffolk. It is a music festival with a charity-fundraiser spine: the 2008 event drew nearly 300 people and raised almost £3,000 for Willow.
By 2026, donations to the Willow Foundation had passed £200,000. The festival moved in 2012 to The MEL Group Stadium, home of AFC Sudbury, before its current Kentwell Hall setting.
Lineup and Programme
The bill starts from indie rock, pop and acoustic music. Dance, hip-hop, reggae, soul and folk sit in the wider programme. Live music runs across the weekend, with sets on the Main Stage.
The non-music programme includes camping and a beer and cider festival. The family area adds face painting, bouncy castles, crafts, colouring and a football area.
Who Is It For?
The crowd is family-friendly and multigenerational. All ages are welcome, with under-16 child tickets available. Children need valid festival and campsite tickets where relevant, and must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The dedicated family area gives the clearest steer. Children have face painting, bouncy castles, crafts, colouring and a football area.
The Venue and Site
Kentwell Hall puts the festival in Long Melford, Suffolk, at CO10 9BA. The site has on-site camping, including camper van and caravan options on separate tickets. Campsite access is separate from the main festival ticket.
The campsite has water and toilets. There are dedicated disabled toilets with RADAR-key access, accessible and blue-badge parking close to the entrance, a dedicated food area, a fully licensed bar and a beer and cider festival.
Camping runs from around 11am on Saturday to 11am on Monday. Campfires are not permitted, there are no electricity or water hook-ups, and one tent is permitted alongside a camper van.
