A tireless voluntary committee of music lovers dedicate their time across the year to build events that peak with a lively celebration of music.

Lapstock is the festival that celebrates local skills and talents, held in the village of Lapford, Devon, over a summers weekend in July.

Lapstock has grown from within the community, through voluntary endeavour, into an event that reaches out to everyone. We know how music brings people together!

With a team of 100 volunteers Lapstock is the ‘affordable’ festival where they seek only to cover our modest costs through a year of planning and events. To keep costs low, musicians and bands play for expenses, not profit, and the enjoyment of playing at an open air festival.
