Kildale Folk Weekend in May is a major annual event bought to you by Festival on the Moor, a non profit organisation managed by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. The committee comprises members of the community experienced in traditional dance, music, song, education, visual art, drama , local produce and folk crafts.
They support and promote local ‘folk’ and feature many artists from all parts of the UK and worldwide in their festivals and concerts.
The venues include village halls, marquees, artist's studios, pubs,concert halls, village greens and schools.
