About Edinburgh Psych Fest
Edinburgh Psych Fest 2027 returns to Anystreet, Edinburgh EH1 1AB on Sunday 5 September as a city-centre music event built around psychedelic rock and psych-influenced alternative music.
The festival launched in 2023 at Summerhall, billed as a new event celebrating international psychedelic music. It expanded in 2024 to include The Queen’s Hall alongside Summerhall, and by 2025 The Skinny described the third edition as split across Summerhall/Queen’s Hall and Sneaky Pete’s/The Mash House.
Early Birds are listed at £32.50 plus booking fees.
Who Is It For?
The bill leans toward psychedelic rock, psych-influenced music, post-punk, shoegaze and indie rock. It’s aimed primarily at fans of alternative music built around that lane.
The festival is 14+. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult, and the EPF after-party at People’s Leisure Club is 18+.
The Venue and Site
The site is a multi-venue city-centre setup in Edinburgh. Movement between rooms is part of the format, with the official app used for stage times and splits.
Summerhall is the practical anchor. Box office and wristband collection are at Summerhall, with food stalls in Summerhall’s Courtyard and The Royal Dick pub.
Accessibility wristbands and queue-jump access are available for eligible attendees. There are no facilities for leaving large bags or luggage.
