Carfest North

CarFest was launched in 2012 by TV presenter and Radio DJ Chris Evans and it brings together his love for classic cars, live music, and quality food. CarFest differs from other festivals because of the vehicle element but also because it raises money for BBC Children in Need. CarFest North has taken place in Cheshire since 2012 and has taken place at two main venues, first at Cholmondeley Castle and now at Oulton Park Race Circuit.

The festival has attracted a wide range of artists from many popular genres including Razorlight, Texas, Ocean Colour Scene, Deacon Blue and Alfie Boe. As well as original artists CarFest is known for the tribute bands including The Bootleg Beatles, Noasis and The Counterfeit Stones.

As well as the live music CarFest North is a family-friendly festival with plenty of activities, theatre, and fun for young festival-goers and of course, some of the best cars in the world on display. CarFest North has a central area for a wide range of different types of performances, great food and more. CarFest North has a sister site in Hampshire, the home of CarFest South.
