Big Love Festival Goes Wild! Big Love Goes Wild!

Big Love Goes Wild! Header

What started out as a homegrown party celebrating the Bristol and Cardiff music scenes has evolved into one of the UK festival season's hidden gems. Still fiercely independent and intimate in size, Big Love boasts over 130 DJs and live acts across 5 stages and three days and nights.

Music ranges from drum'n'bass, jungle and house, to indie, dub, disco and folk – and everything in between!

Lineup

Highlights this year include d'n'b legend LTJ Bukem – performing his set on top of an old fire engine – festival favourite Beans on Toast, locals Afro Cluster and dance pioneers Transglobal Underground.

Other acts this July include Panic Shack, Adwaith. Concrete Junglists, Aleighcia Scott, Hippo Sound System, Mista Trick live, Josh Skints and Showhawk Duo.

Fabric resident Bobby. and DJ and producer Kepler are headlining the secluded forest dome stage, alongside DJs from Cardiff promoter DELETE.

More than music

Big Love’s focus isn’t just on great music though, but about creating magical moments and experiences that will make a weekend escape memorable – from secret woodland parties, fireside sessions to silly games and art installations.

New this year is a big top with circus performance and cabaret, plus art and craft workshops, standup comedy and spoken word. The new Teapot Tent will be showcasing a range of emerging talent, alongside some chilled, established artists.

The festival is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, with a move to a gorgeous new South Wales location, just a short hop from Bristol and the M4.

The new site includes woodland glades and a late-night disco barn, and provides stunning views across the rolling hills at the edge of the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A world away from the big festivals, Big Love is small on capacity but big on atmosphere, parties, creativity, friends and attention to detail. Big Love is big on affordability too, with final tier weekend tickets just £125 + BF, so why not join them for an unforgettable weekend in July?
