About Alfold Rock & Blues Festival
Alfold had a delayed start. The festival launched in 2021 after two COVID-related postponements, with its first edition running at 50% capacity. For 2027, Alfold Rock & Blues Festival runs from 1–4 July at Springbok Estate, Alfold, Surrey GU6 8EX, keeping its focus on rock, blues, roots and classic rock.
The scale is tight by UK festival standards, with around 1,000 people per day on site. That keeps it closer to a club-sized rock weekender than a big-field arena event.
Lineup and Programme
The bill sits in the rock-and-blues lane. Announced acts include Jethro Tull’s Martin Barre and band, Zac Schulze Gang, Brave Rival and Nine Below Zero + Special Guest.
Live performances are the centre of the weekend. Food stalls and the bar operate on site.
Who Is It For?
The crowd leans mature, in line with a rock-and-blues bill. Families are explicitly welcome. Child concessions include free admission for children under 10.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Anyone who looks under 25 needs ID for alcohol purchase or consumption.
The Venue and Site
Springbok Estate puts the festival on a rural Surrey site outside Alfold. Camping areas sit close to the event, with car parking also close to the campsites.
Camping is for festival ticket holders and is charged per person. Campervan and caravan passes are separate, and electric hook-ups are available.
Toilets are placed throughout the site, including disabled toilets. Showers are on site. Fresh water standpipes are around the campsite.
Glamping runs via Camel Camp, with breakfast cereal and hot drinks each morning. Disabled parking sits by the festival entrance, with a disabled camping and parking area by the campsite exit.
