Zimbaremabwe mbira vibes

Zimbaremabwe mbira vibes is a Brighton-based collective led by Linos Wengara Magaya. The group plays traditional mbira music and Zimbabwean-style full-band sets that follow mbira patterns while also using electric instruments and drum kit. It also performs reggae with mbira.

The group travels regularly across the south of England. Its work is rooted in the spiritual values of traditional Zimbabwean culture, and it presents that culture in a positive way while remaining outside politics.
