ZENDAD are a Coventry based Space Rock band. Their music is influenced by Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles, Gong etc.
ZENDAD was formed as a solo project by Coventry based ambient musician Steve Kavanagh in 2005 to showcase his original space rock/ambient compositions. He developed ZENDAD into a live act in 2009 after receiving positive reviews of his 'Resistance Is Futile' album by Andy Garibaldi from CD Services/Dead Earnest. ZENDAD have since supported Group X (ex Hawkwind) and Alan Davey's Eclectic Devils at the 2010 'Onboard The Craft Festival' in Derbyshire, and have recently done a couple of gigs with Hawklords guitarist Jerry Richards as special guest.
