Yukon Blonde

Yukon Blonde is a Canadian indie rock group from Kelowna, Canada. The band is active from 2008 and develops from an earlier version formed in 2005 under the name Alphababy. The name change happens in late 2008, suggested by Jon-Rae Fletcher while the band is touring with him. The group relocates to Vancouver and spends 2008 to 2009 rehearsing and developing its material.

Line-up and membership

The band includes Jeff Innes on guitar and vocals and Brandon Wolfe Scott on guitar and vocals. Earlier members include Graham Jones on drums and vocals, and Adam Newton on bass. After the recording of the first album, Newton leaves the band to pursue work as a tattoo artist. The group continues with a trio line-up and uses a touring bass player when needed.

Recordings and releases

Yukon Blonde signs to Toronto label Nevado Records and releases a four-song EP, Everything in Everyway, followed by a self-titled debut album in 2010. The album is also issued in the United States by Bumstead Productions.
