Youth Fountain

Youth Fountain is a Vancouver-based pop punk and punk rock group led by Tyler Zanon, who previously played in Air Combat. The project begins in 2013 under the name Bedroom Talk as a solo outlet for Zanon, a guitarist and vocalist from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Formation and development

The project starts as Bedroom Talk before adopting the name Youth Fountain. Zanon first records it as a solo project, then recruits Cody Muraro to guest on the debut song “Grinding Teeth”. The two work well together and continue the project as a duo. Youth Fountain later continues as Zanon’s solo project after Muraro leaves in 2020 to become the vocalist of Real Friends.

Releases and label

Youth Fountain is signed to Pure Noise Records. The group releases two full-length studio albums and two EPs, along with acoustic versions of selected songs from the first two albums. After Muraro’s departure, Zanon releases Keepsakes & Reminders in 2021.
