Young Romance
Young Romance is a London noise pop duo that forms in 2012 and remains active. The group consists of Claire on vocals and drums and Paolo on guitar.
Early shows and debut release
After early performances supporting Mystery Jets, Slow Club and Summer Camp, the duo releases its debut 7-inch, Pale, on Banquet Records. That release coincides with a spring tour with The Heartbreaks.
Later activity and response
Young Romance later tours with Satellite Stories and works on a follow-up single. The band receives support from music press outlets including NME, Clash, Line of Best Fit, XFM and Gentingothis, with coverage noting the duo’s mix of guitar-led noise pop and Claire’s vocals.
