You Know the Drill

You Know the Drill are a four-piece pop punk band from the West Midlands, UK. The group forms in July 2014 and consists of vocalist and guitarist Benji Yapp, bassist Damo Darby, drummer Brad Potter and guitarist Jim McCormack.

They begin by playing shows around the Birmingham area and release their debut single, “The Next Chapter”, as a free digital download. Two months later they follow it with “Treading Water”, which takes a slightly more indie rock-influenced direction.

By November 2014, the band has a January three-way co-headline tour lined up with High Anthem from Newcastle and Amateur Drive By from Cheltenham, with dates in Newcastle, Cheltenham, Manchester and Stourbridge. They also plan a debut EP and wider touring activity across the country.
