Yinka

Yinka Adesina is a Dutch nu-soul singer from the Netherlands, also described as a Nigerian singer who grows up in London before moving to Amsterdam. She records in the area of Afro soul, with music that sits across jazz, soul, funk, pop and world influences.

Career

Under the name Y!nx, she has a short music career in Amsterdam in the early 2000s. During that period she releases two albums: 2nd Skin in 2002 and Fruit Suga in 2004. Both albums come out on J2Music/Coast to Coast.

Name change

She is also known as Olayinka Ehi, and later changes her name to Yinka, beginning with the 2022 single Two Weeks.
