Wormrot

Wormrot is a grindcore band from Singapore. It forms in 2007, after the founding members complete two years of mandatory national service, and remains active. The group is signed to Earache Records and is associated with grindcore, deathgrind, crust punk, blackened crust and neocrust.

The band releases four full-length studio albums, along with a number of EPs and split releases with other bands. Its full-length album Hiss appears in 2022. Wormrot also tours in Europe and the United States.

OC Weekly describes the band as one of the top 10 grindcore acts. The lineup includes Arif Rot on vocals, Rasyid Juraimi on guitar and Vijesh Ghariwala on drums, with Acit, Fitri, Tremor and Ibrahim also listed among the members.
