Wolves in the Throne Room are a black metal band from Olympia, United States, active since 2002. They are identified with atmospheric black metal and metal, and are also associated with the US black metal scene.

The group’s core lineup centres on brothers Nathan Weaver, who handles vocals and guitar, and Aaron Weaver, who plays drums and other instruments. Since 2017, Kody Keyworth is also regarded as a permanent member. Other members listed with the band are Nick Paul, Rick Dahlin and Will Lindsay.

The band releases full-length albums and EPs, with six full-length albums and a number of EPs noted. A key idea behind the project is the attempt to translate the energies of the Pacific Northwest landscape into musical form.
