Wolf Gang is a London-based indie pop and synthpop group that operates between 2009 and 2015. The project is built around singer and songwriter Max McElligott, and the group line-up includes James Wood, Lasse Scheufens Petersen and Gavin John Slater. The act is associated with Cherrytree Records.

Wolf Gang emerges as the recording and performing vehicle for Max McElligott, whose solo identity is tied to the project name. The group forms in London, United Kingdom, and develops from a solo-centred act into a full live line-up with three permanent members.

The group gains attention through the singles “Pieces Of You” and “The King And All Of His Men”. It also supports Florence And The Machine, Miike Snow and Metric, and plays its own sold-out show at London’s White Heat night.

Debut album and production

Wolf Gang finishes recording its debut album with producer Dave Fridmann, who is known for work with Mercury Rev, MGMT and The Flaming Lips. The release “Lions in Cages” appears as the first single from the forthcoming album Suego Faults.
