WinterHours

WinterHours are a four-piece alternative rock band with a harmonic, indie-influenced sound. They play festivals across the UK, including Aeon Festival, Good Weekend and Beach Break Live, where they appear on the main stage. They also support acts such as Cast, Exlovers, The Phoenix Foundation, Cloud Control, Clock Opera, Slow Club and Wolf Gang. In 2011 they play Liverpool Sound City Festival.

The band work on new material for an EP. Their music is described as combining jangle-pop guitar lines, soft vocals, strong hooks and chiming, 1980s-influenced guitars, with comparisons made to The Cure, the Byrds, Mew and Ride. Luke Lewis of NME Magazine describes them as “a breath of fresh air”, while other commentary highlights their energy, harmonies and shoegaze-leaning indie style.
