Winter Gardens

Winter Gardens are a four-piece group from Brighton, in the United Kingdom, active since 2018. The band features Ananda, Jim, Matt and Alex.

They describe their sound as “dream punk”, drawing on 1980s post-punk and on the Factory, Postcard, 4AD and Creation label eras. Their music combines the hazy textures of shoegaze and dream pop with the energy of punk.

The group plays within alternative dance, art pop, chillwave, dance-punk, electropop and indie pop, and is also tagged with martial industrial, neoclassical, instrumental and industrial.

Winter Gardens have supported Modern English, Say Sue Me, Magic Wands and Charles Howl, and they open Rockaway, which is headlined by Gary Numan and Echo & the Bunnymen.

In 2019 they release their debut single, Coral Bells, and appear on the Triptych #3 EP, issued with Brighton label Love Thy Neighbour.
