Wicket is a Welsh instrumental act that starts as a university project in Cardiff, where three music students come together with shared influences and an interest in combining visuals and music in a live performance. The group is made up of Raurie Allen, Spud Nash and Danny Jaques.

Their sound is described in terms of post rock, ambient and electronic elements, and they are also tagged with German metal. They perform regularly in Cardiff and in the Bristol area and continue to tour from their South Wales base.

The project is presented as a band that focuses on expansive, textured sound rather than conventional song forms, with live presentation treated as part of the overall work.
