WhoMadeWho

WhoMadeWho are a Copenhagen-based Danish group active since 2003. The lineup consists of Tomas Barfod, Tomas Høffding and Jeppe Kjellberg. Their sound is described as drawing on indie rock and dance-punk, and they are also associated with electronic, electropop and electroclash.

The group is founded in Copenhagen in 2003 by Tomas Høffding, Jeppe Kjellberg and Tomas Barfod. Høffding is also known as Bon Homme. Their early work includes a number of 12-inch singles and remixes for other artists. Their first full-length release is the self-titled album WhoMadeWho.

Much of that debut album is later reworked in acoustic form on their second record, Green Versions. The group also covers Benny Benassi’s Satisfaction on the debut album and in later live performances. Their track Space For Rent is later performed live by Josh Homme’s side-project, the Fififf Teeners, in that project’s only live performance.

WhoMadeWho also gain wider attention after headlining the Benicàssim festival in 2007, following a delay that prevents the Klaxons from playing their set.
