WHITEMOOR

WHITEMOOR is the name of two separate acts. One is WhiteMoor, a UK indie band formed in 2010 by Barrington Mole on guitars and backing vocals. Benny Ryan joins on lead vocals, and Luke Inglis on bass, Tom Scribbins on drums and Louise Tomlinson on keys and backing vocals complete the line-up in 2012. The band releases material through Sound-Hub Records and also has a single issued on Alexis Records in the United States. Its discography includes the singles Three Words, Pieces, HighLights, Three Words at Christmas, All I’ve Ever Known, This is..., Remember Remember and On Top Of The World, as well as the albums WhiteMoor and Horizons.

The band is described as having four top 100 download singles and two albums. Its sound is associated with indie pop and guitar-driven arrangements, with a focus on synths, vocals and drums. Another act using the same name is Whitemoor, also active from 2005, the alias of Peter White, a progressive and techno trance artist from St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, in the UK. He is signed to RSRecords.
