White Belt Yellow Tag

White Belt Yellow Tag is a British alternative rock group formed in 2008 by Justin Lockey and Craig Pilbin. The live line-up includes Tom Bellamy on drums; Bellamy is formerly of The Cooper Temple Clause, while Lockey is a former guitarist with Yourcodenameis:milo. The group’s members are Tom Bellamy, Justin Lockey and Craig Pilbin.

The band’s name comes from Lockey’s comments about the difficulty of finding a name that does not feel awkward to say. He notes that the choice avoids the usual “The” name format and says it is also a reference to how far he got in taekwondo when he was about seven.

White Belt Yellow Tag releases its debut EP, You're Not Invincible, in 2009. The title track is named Track of the Day on Q magazine’s website.
