Whippersnapper

Whippersnapper is a US punk band from Atlanta, Georgia. It forms in 1992 as a five-piece melodic punk group and plays fast-paced punk with a melodic edge, alongside tags such as punk rock, skate punk and melodic hardcore. The band members include Jason Joseph.

Whippersnapper releases three albums during its career, with the first appearing in 1998 and the last in 2002. It later breaks up after that final album and is listed as inactive by Fueled by Ramen, its last record label. The band has no official website.

The same name is also used by an English folk and folk-rock supergroup formed in 1984 and led by ex-Fairport fiddle player Dave Swarbrick, with Chris Leslie, Kevin Dempsey and Martin Jenkins.
