Western Sand

Western Sand is a UK southern rock band from the Hampshire and Dorset area. The group forms in November 2008 and is a four-piece act playing mainly original material, with a small number of covers included in its set.

The band’s sound draws on a wide range of influences, including Pink Floyd, The Doors, Black Stone Cherry and Black Label Society. Their live activity grows from local shows to dates in Reading and London, with plans to play in Europe also mentioned. The group receives positive audience feedback and works towards the completion of an album titled Truckload Of Trouble.

Line-up

Tyler Hains handles lead guitar and lead vocals. Jimmy Bradshaw plays lead guitar. Nathan J. Kay is on drums, cowbells and vocals. Findlay Hotchkiss plays bass guitar and provides vocals.
