Welcome Back Delta

Welcome Back Delta is a hard rock band from Gloucestershire, active since 2011. The group is also known as WBD and consists of Joe Kelly on guitar and vocals, Phil Davies on bass, Steve Roberts on drums, and Rob Duncan on guitar.

The band plays rock music with a grunge and hard rock edge, and has been described in comparisons to Clutch and as “dad rock”. It is also known for a Bristol appearance that led to a description of the group as “Bristol rednecks”.

Releases

The band records albums under the title Shocker and Sucker. Shocker includes tracks such as “Deep Bone”, “Dropping Like Flies” and “Twist of Fate”.

Live activity

After releasing Shocker, Welcome Back Delta supports acts including Clutch, Lionise and Nick Oliveri. The band also plays Breaking Bands festival and Wychwood, where Joe Kelly meets Bill Bailey.
