Weeping Willows

Weeping Willows are a Swedish pop rock group active since 1994. They begin as a country and rockabilly band before merging with members of Apache and forming the line-up that becomes Weeping Willows.

Line-up

The group includes Magnus Carlson on vocals, Stefan Axelsen on bass, Anders Hernestam on drums, and Niko Röhlcke on guitars, pedal steel and keyboards. The verified membership also includes Mats Hedén.

Style and activity

The band works mainly in pop rock and rock, and their early country and rockabilly background remains part of their history. They are associated with both intimate café performances and large Scandinavian festival appearances, and they present themselves as a band that changes while keeping its core identity focused on the music.
