Weebl is the stage name of Jonti Picking, a comedic flash animator and musician who runs the website weebls-stuff.com. His work combines humour with electronic and novelty material, and is associated with c64 remix and novelty genres.

Animation and music

Weebl is best known for creating the Weebl and Bob flash animation series. The series centres on two egg-like characters: the larger one, Weebl, and the smaller one, Bob. They speak in an incoherent style, presented with speech bubbles, and use deliberately poor grammar.

His jokes are often random and frequently involve pie. One example of the characters’ speech is “You bringed back pie!”

Other work

In addition to his web animations and music, Weebl creates advertising work. He is credited with a Yellow Pages television campaign in the UK.
