Wedding

Wedding is a Manchester-based UK indie lo-fi band. The name is also used by a second, separate group from Kent, but the Manchester act is the one identified here.

As a project name, Wedding appears in more than one context: one version is a two-piece post-hardcore band with Chris, also known from Kind Eyes, on guitar and vocals and Sam, who plays drums and also performs with Human Junk and Pax Indigo. Another version is an industrial and power electronics group made up of Clay Ruby, Karen Eliot and Mansfield. That group draws on a wide network of related projects and aliases, including Burial Hex, Hintergedanken, Second Family Band, Daveport, Zodiacs, Jex Thoth, Mumber Toes, Jaged Ice, Dragon Faggot With The Crystal Skulls In Tibet, Wereshark, Mansfield Deathtrap Re-Recordings, Craig Microcassette System and Airmac.

The industrial/power electronics line-up releases one cassette on the Skulls of Heaven label and contributes a track to the Streicher tribute cassette The Stormer.
